History of Hibarigaoka
The place name ``Hibarigaoka'' is said to come from the ``Hibarigaoka housing complex'' that was built in this area after the war.
The properties in Hibarigaoka Danchi adopted the dining-kitchen style, which had not yet spread in Japan at the time, and became the forerunner of the housing complex boom that followed.
Currently, the area around Hibarigaoka Station is still a residential area, but development is progressing steadily, with large commercial facilities being constructed in front of the station.
