History of Numabukuro


Numabukuro Station opened in 1927.

It opened as Seibu Railway's first express overtaking line.

The express overtaking line was not abolished even when the station was moved to a new station building in 1983 or when the structure was changed in 2017, and it continues to be used to this day.

Since 2018, the station has been converted to a temporary building due to underground construction.

By 2026, the station will be underground and the railroad crossing near the station will be eliminated.
