History of Akatsuka


Akatsuka Subway Station originally opened as Eidan Akatsuka Station on the Eidan Subway.

The name was changed to ``Subway Akatsuka Station'' as the operation was inherited by the current Tokyo Metro station.

After the Fukutoshin Line opened in 2008, it became a shared station for the Yurakucho Line and the Fukutoshin Line.
