Namba
Namba Station is one of Osaka's leading terminal stations. It is close to major Osaka sightseeing spots such as Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi shopping streets, and is only 35 minutes from Kansai International Airport (KIX) by the Rapi:t express train, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in Osaka!
There are six stations named Namba, which may confuse some people, but they are all in the same " Namba area " just on different lines. There is Namba Station on the Midosuji Line, Namba Station on the Nankai Line, Osaka-Namba Station on the Kintetsu and Hanshin Lines, Namba Station on the Yotsubashi Line, Namba Station on the Sennichimae Line, and Namba Station on the JR Line.
Namba is a terminal station in the center of Osaka , so it has good access to all areas of Osaka, such as Umeda and Shin-Osaka in the north and Universal Studios Japan in the south. It is also particularly convenient for accessing Nara and Wakayama, so it is recommended for those who want to occasionally go outside the prefecture.
Namba is home to the famous Dotonbori , and is a lively downtown area with many restaurants that are open until the morning. It is also a comedy hub , and is home to the Namba Grand Kagetsu, run by Yoshimoto Kogyo, so it's fun to go see a comedy show on the weekend.
There are also department stores such as Namba Marui, Namba Parks, a complex directly connected to the station, and Osaka Takashimaya, so the area is conveniently well-equipped with commercial facilities.
[Namba is recommended for these people!] This is a city we highly recommend to people who want to enjoy Osaka's most bustling downtown area, live in central Osaka with easy access to anywhere, and visit Nara, Wakayama, and other places.
